ABOUT US

Resilience Solutions International (RSI) is a company engaged in supporting sustainable development through disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation. The company offers a high-quality package of services, from research and analysis to design, creation and implementation of strategies and projects to solve disaster and climate change impacts. Our services are uniquely combining prevention and response, based on latest trends, advancements and innovation. Resilience Solutions International was founded in 2017 in Austria as a consultancy gathering a group of experts.

The team has more than 20 years of experiences in disaster risk reduction and climate change providing a full range of services – risk assessments, climate change and disaster risk strategic planning, logistical and organizational planning of exercises and capacity building projects, strengthening legal, policy, institutional and financial frameworks, PR campaigns, development of IT tools, etc. As well as operational deployments (e.g. flood response 2014 to Bosnia and Hercegovina and Serbia, Missions to Lebanon and West Africa, Japan, EUFOR Althea training missions). Resilience Solutions implemented projects on four continents: Western Balkans (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo*), Turkey, Austria, Germany, France, Middle East (Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, Palestine), Egypt, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya,  (Curaçao, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, St. Eustatius, Saba), Nepal, Pakistan, Oman;

OUR TEAM

Company is led by Mr. Christian Resch, a disaster risk reduction expert with 20 years of experience in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America in the field of security and disaster management. The program and project implementation are led by Senior Advisor for Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Adaptation. For specific tasks company engages experts, consultants and partners from its wide roster and network. Our experts are evaluating research proposals for the European Commission, conducting strategy development for OSCE and UNDRR, possess first responders experience as well as scientific background.

Mr. Christian Resch Mr. Christian Resch

has an extensive experience in response to disasters, creating and delivering of trainings, including disaster response trainings, capacity building and research.  With more than 15 years of experience as EU Civil Protection, UN Disaster Assessment and Coordination and more than six years of experience as Research Manager, Mr. Resch has first-hand field knowledge. He is also a Fire Service Officer, as well as a Professional Military Officer. His experience in disaster risks reduction includes several EU-funded programmes and projects including the management of expert teams, aa well as other regional/national programs. Mr. Resch has a good knowledge of multi sectoral risk assessment and great experience in post disaster needs assessments. In addition, Mr. Resch has demonstrated work experience in strategic planning in the Federal Ministry of Defense Austria, in evaluation of EU projects, programs and plans, in design and implementation of reports, and in quality control. He is Fluent in German, English and Italian languages.

Ms. Aida Resch Ms. Aida Resch

has over 15 years of experience working for United Nations and consultancy companies in the Europe and Central Asia as Programme Manager for disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation projects funded by EU, USAID, Switzerland, Japan, Italy, Norway, UK, Czech, GEF, GCF, etc. Multi-hazard scientific risk assessments, legal technical advice and support, development of policies, studies and analysis in the area, improvement of early warning systems and insurance schemes, development of DRR, CCA and environmental action plans, management of high-risk engineering works are some of the topics she is experienced in. She holds a Master’s degree in International Law and a PhD in Climate Economics and is Fluent in English, German, Bosnian, Croatian,  Serbian languages.
